Giant Tortoise Encounter

Join us on an exclusive encounter and get face to face with some of the world’s most incredible giant tortoises! This encounter includes a personalized experience with a conservation educator, a meet and greet with an animal care specialist and an up-close experience with our animals. Learn about our incredible giant tortoise species, step into their habitat and participate in their care and animal welfare through this memorable experience.

This encounter is limited to four participants per time slot.

Important Participant Guidelines for Tortoise Encounter

To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all guests, please review the following requirements:

All participants must be at least 5 years old to enter the habitat.
Children ages 5–15 must be accompanied in the habitat by a participating adult (age 18+).
One adult may accompany up to Three children (maximum ratio 1:3).
If you are interested in booking for more than three children, please contact us at education@napleszoo.org to discuss availability and accommodations.
Non-participating adults may be asked to remain on the boardwalk during the experience and will not be escorted behind the scenes.
